Sherry Neill BSN ND BC-CAHP along with her husband Marty are the owners of Absolute Wellness Center. Before studying natural health and wellness, Sherry worked in the hospital as a trauma nurse, and neonatal intensive care nurse. Sherry held certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course). She also enjoyed teaching CPR and ACLS to other healthcare professionals. After leaving the hospital she held positions as long term care director of nursing, and physician liaison. It was when suffering from TMJ and chronic headaches that Sherry began to study yoga (for stress relief and pain management) and earned certifications as a 200 and 500 level Registered Yoga Teacher. During yoga teacher training she become more interested in herbs, essential oils, and Ayurveda. Her career path and plan of study took a drastic change at this time as she decided to leave the “western medicine” world and pursue a Master’s Degree in Holistic Studies. Marty can be found at the office some weekdays and many Saturdays. He takes care of administrative issues, assists clients, answers the phone, maintains the building and equipment, and anything else that needs to be done. Starting her career in the late 80s as an entertainment reporter, April has interviewed some of the most famous musicians including Bret Michaels of Poison, Neal Schon of Journey and Santana and many others. Her independent newspaper, KC Entertainment became the number one rated independent publication in the Kansas City area as a source for real interviews and reviews of musical acts in the Metropolitan Area. After being offered a position as the Rock and Metal Music reporter for the Associated Press, April decided to go in another direction with her journalism leading her to work for the ABC News affiliate in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After finding out the News Directors were more propaganda than news, she decided to take her talent to the Lake of the Ozarks where she worked on the morning show beside Kevin Burns, better known as “KB.” She frequently interviewed political figures from Senators to the Missouri Governor asking hard hitting questions. Soon she was recruited to work at the local newspaper as an editor and then came the tragedy of 9/11 in New York City. This event made her re-evaluate what she was reporting and realized, she wanted to be more independent and caring about the stories and news she was reporting. The work environment of the news was callous and ruthless. This was not what she wanted to do with her career. Fast forward to 2015 – April was already very involved in politics and as she watched President Trump make his candidate announcement on June 16 she decided to put on her journalism cap once again. Coming back strong, she created her channel on YouTube, quickly gaining 60K subscribers and was heading towards 100K subscriber when the censorship Nazis of Propaganda began unsubscribing viewers at a rate of 1000 per day. After calling out the company for their deep and unfair practices, the powers in charge of YouTube have been allowing her channel to stay at 78K. Amazingly, after 7 years, many suspensions and warnings, April still has a YouTube channel but has expanded her live broadcast to include Rumble and Twitch where viewers can participate in the Live Chat. Currently, she is the host of the America Matters Radio Show broadcasting Monday through Friday from 2PM – 4PM unless she is traveling to an event where she will be broadcasting on location. In 1984 Catherine received her first certification in group fitness and was hooked. She then went on to become a certified personal trainer and hold other certifications in a variety of health and fitness modalities.
Her spiritual journey began when she was a little girl. People have always been drawn to her to help them answer their life problems. Catherine is the person that brings the calm in chaos. Seven years ago she received her first Reiki Attunement. She is also the Creator of CATA “Consumers Against Toxic Apparel,” the first movement of its kind in the United States helping to promote the awareness of toxic disposable fast fashion and collaborates with companies around the US to offer organic alternatives. She has been an activist and advocate for clean toxic free fashion by writing articles, holding seminars, publicly speaking and collaborating with many of the initial pioneers of the movement. Most recently she opened the first of its kind Studio and Showroom for fashion and home. Lacey's journey in alternative healing started after a health struggle due to a compromised immune system from an illness in infancy. "I was tired of the same results, and the same cycle that western medicine offered me. One day I decided that surely Creator had a different answer to end the cycle I experienced. I started learning about nutrition and naturopathy, and made some changes to my diet. I made improvements, but wasn’t satisfied with the results. Along that journey I learned that the body works synergistically. I then started learning about my bio-field and energy work. In 2017, I started my Reiki healing journey and received my first two attunements in Usui Reiki. In the same year, I started to learn the Healing Touch modality, and began to work with crystals. I found the answers I was looking for, and my quality of life improved greatly! In 2019, I received my certification as a Reiki Master and Crystal Healing Practitioner with the hopes of assisting others in improving their wellbeing".
